Evansville, Indiana, April 13, 2026 – Traylor Building, a leading building construction contractor, is proud to announce its role as Construction Manager for the 320,000-SF Mizkan America production expansion project in Owensboro, Ky. 

Originally announced by Mizkan America in March 2025, the 320,000-SF expansion will add production space for Mizkan and Nakano rice vinegars, Holland House cooking wines, and other Mizkan Asian sauces and vinegars while expanding production capacity for Ragu and Bertolli pasta sauces. The investment includes building improvements, new machinery and equipment, IT upgrades, and new manufacturing lines and warehousing space. This significant expansion will help Mizkan meet growing customer demand and strengthen its position as a market leader. 

Mizkan America currently produces more than 400 million jars of its Ragu and Bertolli pasta sauces annually at the Owensboro facility

The construction project is expected to be completed in February 2028. Following commissioning of all new equipment, the project is expected to create 44 new jobs in Owensboro.
